Who's Facilitating Your Discovery?
I'm April Dawn — and I discovered Human Design the same way many of you will: desperately searching for answers when nothing else was working.
My youngest son was two years old, and I was struggling. He felt so different from his older brother, and I wasn't sure how to support him without constantly feeling like I was doing it wrong.
That's when a friend introduced me to Human Design, and everything clicked.
Turned out, my youngest is a Projector in a family of Generators (his dad is a Manifesting Generator). His energy WAS different from ours — not wrong, just built differently. Understanding this helped me guide him without judgment, just understanding. He needed different support, different pacing, different recognition.
That realization transformed how I parent, how I partner, and eventually, how I coach.
Now, as a mom to two teenage boys (and wife for 25 years), I've lived the daily reality of navigating completely different designs under one roof. Understanding my family's Human Design transformed how we communicate and eliminated so much unnecessary friction.
