Stop Second-Guessing Yourself: The Genius of Trusting Your Gut (Especially Now)
You've read the journal.
Made the pros-and-cons list.
Poured another oat milk latte.
But still... you're circling.
Should you say yes to that new collaboration?
Should you end that slow-drip client contract that no longer lights you up?
Should you pivot the project, the team, the entire next year?
Every decision feels heavier right now — as if making the "wrong" one will cost you something big: Time. Energy. Reputation. Money. Alignment.
So instead of moving forward, you pause.
You wait.
You spin.
And that deep trust you used to have in yourself — the one that could just feel when something was right — feels out of reach.
I get it.
Because here's what most people don't realize:
Overthinking isn't a sign that you need more information.
It's a sign your body is asking to be included in the process.
You Were Designed to Know
If you're anything like the women I work with — heart-centered, brilliant, intentional — you've been taught to be logical. To be reasonable. To do your due diligence.
But here's the kicker:
Most of your best decisions?
They don't come from your mind.
They come from your body.
From the quiet "yes" that rises before your brain can even form a sentence.
From the subtle nudge of your Authority in Human Design.
From your Generator response — that gut-level knowing of what's truly aligned for you.
This isn't woo.
It's bio-intelligence.
It's the genius in your design.
And it's probably been trying to talk to you all week.
What I Learned About My Own Process
When I saw my GeniusReport, so many patterns clicked.
Here's what it revealed about how my mind naturally works:
🧠 40% Logical (Future-focused)
This is my default. I naturally grasp details and identify facts in order to plan for a safer future. My mind automatically scans for patterns and assesses risks — always playing the long game.
💡 35% Individual (Present-focused)
This shows up strong too. I strive for knowledge in order to shape the present. I trust what feels right right now — tuning into intuition and inspiration in the moment, even if it doesn't "make sense" yet.
🌀 25% Abstract (Past-focused)
While I can reflect on past experiences to grasp their significance and meaning, this isn't my primary mode. It's there, but it's not how my brain defaults to processing.
So my mind moves between future planning and present intuition most naturally.
But here's where it gets really interesting...
When it comes to actually making decisions, my process is different from how my mind works.
My Basis for Decisions is equally guided by two things:
🧭 40% Practical
I decide intuitively what is or isn't feasible and practically possible. It's not logical analysis — it's an instant knowing about whether something can actually work in the real world.
❤️ 40% Empathic
I sense and deeply consider how my decision impacts others emotionally. The feelings of the people involved matter just as much as the practical feasibility.
🧪 20% Mental
Logic and data? Far less important in my actual decision-making. I don't need to "prove" every choice intellectually.
I also learned I process best through conversation — whether I'm making a decision or supporting someone else through one.
So what does all that actually mean?
🌀 I'm a 1/3 Generator with Emotional Authority — I'm built to respond to life, not chase it.
✨ My clarity doesn't come in the moment — it builds over time.
🎯 I trust my gut, feel through my wave, and talk it out before I act.
My mind naturally plans for the future and tunes into the present...
But my decisions? They're guided equally by intuition about what's feasible and empathy for how people are affected.
And once I understood that... the second-guessing stopped.
No wonder I sometimes felt torn between what my mind was analyzing (future risks, present opportunities) and what I actually knew was right (practical gut sense + emotional impact).
I wasn't being indecisive. I was just trying to force my decision-making through my mental processing style — when they're actually two different systems.
That realization? It changed everything.
💡 Ever wonder what your inner decision rhythm might be?
Want to Discover Your Own Human Design?
If you don't know your Human Design type yet, you can run a free chart at YourAuraAtWork.com.
You'll need your birth date, exact time, and location. (If you don't know your exact birth time, you can still get some valuable information — though your Authority may not be accurate.)
Once you have your chart, you'll see:
Your Type (Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Manifestor, or Reflector)
Your Authority (how you're designed to make decisions)
Your Profile (your life theme and learning style)
But here's the thing: Having your chart and understanding how to actually use it in real-life decisions are two very different things.
You can know you're a Generator with Emotional Authority... and still freeze when a big opportunity lands in your inbox.
You can understand the theory... and still override your body's signals under pressure.
That's where the real transformation happens — when you learn to work WITH your design, not just read about it.
What's Often Happening Beneath the Surface
We often think we're just "bad at decisions" — but that's rarely the truth.
Here's what's often happening beneath the surface:
Your body is holding old emotions.
Old patterns.
Old fears — about failure, visibility, judgment, or getting it wrong again.
These aren't just thoughts.
They're trapped somatic memories.
Feelings that were never fully processed don't just disappear. They get stored in the body — and they block your clarity.
So when you're spinning in mental loops, you're not being indecisive.
You're trying to think your way around something that needs to be felt and released.
The beauty is: these blocks don't need to be analyzed to be cleared.
They just need to be witnessed in a safe way.
That's exactly what RIM® (Regenerating Images in Memory) allows.
It's a somatic, evidence-based process that helps you access and clear the emotional blocks holding you back — without reliving your trauma or re-telling your story.
When I guide women through a RIM® session, what emerges is always the same:
A body that relaxes.
A gut that speaks.
A decision that becomes obvious.
You're Not Broken — You're Brilliant
Your way of making decisions isn't wrong.
It's just not what the outside world rewards.
You've likely never been shown how to recognize your:
🔹 Energetic response
🔹 Mental pattern
🔹 Emotional rhythm
🔹 Decision basis (Are you wired to be practical, empathic, mental, intuitive?)
When you combine these insights — from your Human Design, your GeniusReport, your own lived patterns — something beautiful happens:
You stop second-guessing.
You stop forcing.
You start trusting again.
Imagine If...
✨ A big decision landed in your inbox.
✨ Instead of spiraling, you paused and checked in.
✨ You felt your gut respond, your body relax.
✨ You gave yourself space to ride your wave — without guilt.
✨ You knew: this is a yes (or a no), and I don't need to justify it.
This is the power of understanding your inner mechanics.
It's not about control.
It's about cooperation — between your body, mind, heart, and energy.
And once you understand how your Human Design and GeniusReport work together, this kind of clear, embodied action becomes second nature.
This Is For You If:
You're a Generator or Manifesting Generator who's been trained to initiate instead of respond.
You've been feeling decision fatigue as the year wraps up.
You're stuck in a loop of "what's next?" and nothing feels like a full-body YES.
You've outgrown the mental gymnastics of traditional coaching frameworks and just want to feel clear again.
You're craving peace, precision, and aligned action — from the inside out.
Let's Get Clear on What's Actually Blocking You
If you've been circling a decision...
If you've been pressuring yourself to "figure it out"...
If you're tired of overriding your knowing...
I'm opening up a few Clarity Calls this week.
This is where we figure out:
✅ Where you're feeling stuck — and why
✅ Where you actually want to go
✅ Whether working together makes sense for both of us
It's not a coaching session. It's a conversation.
We'll explore what's underneath the overthinking, what your design is trying to tell you, and what kind of support would actually move the needle.
If we're a good fit, I'll share how I work.
If we're not, I'll tell you that too — and point you in a direction that serves you better.
Either way, you'll leave with more clarity than you came in with.
You don't need more time.
You don't need another spreadsheet.
You need to trust what's already inside you.
Let's find your yes again.
